The funeral for Harrogate woman Sheena Blake, which will be held at Stonefall Cemetery next week, will be open to the public.
Funeral for Harrogate's Sheena Blake to be held next week The funeral for Harrogate woman Sheena Blake will be held next week. Sheena sadly passed away last month after she was diagnosed with a stage four incurable brain tumour on 28th June. She was just 38-years-old at the time and has two daughters, aged 12 and 15. Sheena’s funeral will be held at Stonefall Cemetery on Thursday 14th December from 11:40am, and will be open to the public. The wake will be held at Bilton Cricket Club between 1pm and 5pm, which visitors are also invited to attend. Sheena’s husband Oliver said:
“I would love to encourage as many people as possible to attend to pay their respects but also to celebrate the life of someone so special.”Sheena was the recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award at the Your Harrogate Local Hero Awards 2023 on 3rd November. She sadly passed away just over 2 weeks later.
