North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service were called to a single vehicle crash this morning, with the driver believed to have been intoxicated.
Fire crews called to drink driver crash near Harrogate North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service were called to a single car crash this morning (Wednesday), with the driver believed to have been intoxicated. The crash happened at around 4:25am near Pot Bridge on the B6161 near Harrogate. The driver was able to remove himself from the vehicle before he was transported to hospital with minor injuries. The Fire Service’s log said:
“Both Harrogate appliances responded to a police request following a single car crash with the man driving still in vehicle and believed intoxicated. “As fire crews prepared for a vehicle roof removal, the man made his own way from vehicle and into care of ambulance where he was transported to hospital in an ambulance complaining of back pain.”Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
