Luxury Harrogate hotel Rudding Park has announced that its immersive FIFTY TWO restaurant will introduce a new lunch service.
FIFTY TWO is the 20-seat restaurant at Rudding Park, led by Head Chef and Host Adam Degg, and was awarded its first Michelin Star earlier this year.
Opened in May 2024, the restaurant is set within a converted shipping container beside the Kitchen Garden and offers a menu-free dining experience, inviting guests to place their trust entirely in the hands of the chef.
Dishes are shaped by produce grown on-site, including the ‘52’ raised beds overseen by Head Kitchen Gardener Emma Pugh, whose team cultivates more than 500 varieties of herbs, fruits and vegetables, ensuring each service reflects the seasons and no two visits are the same.
The new six-course lunch offering will initially be available on Saturdays, starting from 6th June, with Friday services introduced later in the summer.
Head Chef and Host Adam Degg said:
“Since opening FIFTY TWO, we’ve always wanted to create something that feels special but still accessible.
"Introducing a shorter lunch menu allows guests to experience what we do in a more relaxed format, whether they’re joining us for the first time or returning for something a little different.
"It’s about offering the same connection to the garden and the same level of detail, just in a way that fits more easily into the day.”
The six-course experience, priced at £75 per person, includes a fresh juice, snacks, four courses, a pre-dessert and petit fours.
A curated drinks pairing will also be available for £50 per person. Guests are invited to arrive at 12:45pm, with the experience lasting approximately two hours.
On arrival, guests begin in the Kitchen Garden with a drink and snack before moving into the restaurant - a striking space constructed from upcycled shipping containers.
Seated around the open kitchen, diners are encouraged to engage with the team as dishes are prepared and presented, creating an experience that feels both intimate and informal.
Guests are seated facing the open kitchen as Degg and his team cook, present and curate the soundtrack for the experience, including ‘Dessert Island Discs’, where diners are invited to contribute to the FIFTY TWO playlist.
June reservations are now open for the new Saturday lunch experience at FIFTY TWO, and bookings are available via: fiftytworuddingpark.co.uk
