A festive tractor run in support of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance is set to pass through Knaresborough and surrounding villages this weekend.
The 'Santa’s Cruise' tractor run will take place on Saturday (20th December), with decorated tractors travelling a planned route through the Knaresborough area.
Tractors will begin arriving at York Road car park in Knaresborough from 4pm.
Approximate timings will be as follows:
- 5pm: Tractor run sets off from York Road car park
- 5.15pm: Knaresborough High Street, Bond End and Scotton
- 5.40pm: Lingerfield, Farnham and Ferrensby
- 6pm: Arkendale and Coneythorpe
- 6.15pm: Goldsborough
- 6.30pm: Little Ribston
- 6.40pm: North Deighton
- 6.50pm: Spofforth Bridge
- Around 7pm: Wetherby Road towards Kestrel roundabout
- 7.15pm: Forest Lane
- 7.30pm: Boggs Lane to Bond End
- 7.40pm – 8pm: Knaresborough High Street to King James Retail Park
- 8.30pm – 9pm: Finish
The tractor run is being held in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, which provides emergency medical care across the region.
Volunteers and air ambulance representatives will be collecting donations at the start and finish points, as well as at locations along the route.
Organisers have advised that participation is by invitation only, with limited numbers taking part.
