In this episode of the Your Harrogate podcast, with the women's World Cup underway, Pete Egerton heads to Harrogate-born Lioness Rachel Daly's first club, Killinghall Nomads and Knaresborough Women feature too. Killinghall Nomads Junior FC was the first club that Rachel Daly played for, before venturing across the pond to feature in the States. David Terzza is girls' and women's football lead at Killinghall and speaks passionately about far the club has come, especially with ladies teams of all different ages and ability too. The club is incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from Rachel and her family and will be cheering her on, each time she features for the Lionesses in the World Cup. Meanwhile, pre-season training has resumed at Knaresborough Town women's football club. The ladies were crowned champions of the West Riding league division 4 last season and have been hoping they would be promoted higher than just one league above, but have they succeeded with their wish?
