The 2025 St Wilfrid’s Procession took place in Ripon last weekend, with thousands gathering to celebrate the city's long-standing tradition.
The annual event saw a vibrant display of floats, costumes, and performances parading through the streets, with local groups and businesses taking part in the festivities.
Organisers have now announced the official placings from this year’s procession.
The official 2025 St Wilfrid’s Procession results are as follows:
- 1st Place: Bishopton Veterinary Group – Party Pirates
- 2nd Place: Klasswerks – Shrek The Moving
- 3rd Place: Solo Estate Agents – Rock Around The Era’s
- 4th Place: Ripon Swimming Club – A Knight’s Tail
In addition, the award for Best Walking Float went to Hightimer’s Boroughbridge for their entry Oliver.

The Public Vote, which allows attendees and local residents to choose their favourite float, was also won by Bishopton Veterinary Group for Party Pirates.
A spokesperson for the event said:
“The creativity, effort, and community spirit on display were second to none but these entrants truly stood out on the day.
“A massive thank you to everyone who took part. You made this year's procession an unforgettable celebration of community, creativity, and tradition.”
