Well-known Harrogate businessman passes away Harrogate businessman David Kitching, the founder of Kitching Plant Hire, has passed away. He passed away peacefully on Monday (21st August). David 's family, Shirley, Jason and Matthew, revealed the news via social media. They said:
"A void in our family has been formed which can never be refilled, and we will miss him greatly."David’s funeral will be held at 11am on Friday 1st September at Saint James’s Church in Birstwith, followed by a celebration of his life at The Wellington Inn in Darley. Those attending are invited to wear a touch of yellow, should they wish. As a mark of respect, Kitching Plant Hire will be closed for the day, reopening on Monday 4th September.
