The Orchid at the Studley Hotel in Harrogate is opening for Saturday lunch for the first time in its 25-year history.
The new opening follows the restaurant’s success at the Harrogate Business Awards, where it was named Best Restaurant following a public vote.
To celebrate, The Orchid is offering diners 20% off food from its à la carte menu Monday to Thursday and at Saturday lunchtime.
Plus - in what is also a first for the restaurant - The Orchid is also set to start offering Saturday lunch.
Ryan is the general manager at the Orchid Restaurant at the Studley Hotel in Harrogate.
He told Your Harrogate:
"By popular demand, The Orchid is now opening for Saturday lunch for the first time in its history.
"We’re really excited to welcome both familiar faces and new guests on Saturday lunchtimes."
The Orchid was one of 14 winners at this year's Harrogate Business Awards.
Ryan said:
“What makes the award particularly meaningful because it was a public vote, and receiving 42% of the vote means so much to all of us.
"We were thrilled simply to be nominated alongside such fantastic independent restaurants in Harrogate, so to win is a wonderful honour."
He added:
"This award belongs to our whole team, past and present, and to the families behind them who have supported us throughout the years. Most importantly, it belongs to our guests.
"Their loyalty has allowed The Orchid to remain part of Harrogate for 25 years, and we never take that support for granted.
"We’d love people to come and enjoy our A la carte menu, including our specials, and celebrate this award together."
