The Chocolate Works has officially closed down on Harrogate's Station Parade.
The Chocolate Works closes Harrogate cafe The Chocolate Works has officially closed its Harrogate site due to low footfall. The cafe had opened on Station Parade in April, the third Chocolate Works to open after successful sites in Clitheroe and Skipton. But the Harrogate cafe regrettably failed to “take off”, according to owner Guy Middleton. He told Your Harrogate:
“After operating The Chocolate Works very successfully in Clitheroe and Skipton for a number of years, I was excited to bring our chocolate twist on a coffee shop to Harrogate. “Sadly though, it just didn't take off. “I’d like to say a big thank you to those who came in to support us and also to the local team of staff who did such an amazing job. “Thanks too to our lovely neighbours at Farmhouse, William Woods Interiors, Yo Sushi, F45, and Mama Doreens, for the warm welcome and encouragement.”The Chocolate Works cafes will remain open in Clitheroe and Skipton, offering hot chocolate, a wide range of coffees and speciality teas, waffles, ice cream and milkshakes.
