It was success once again for Ripon’s Grantley Hall as it hosted its annual Supercar Sunday event last weekend.
The event returned to the luxury hotel on Sunday (30th June) with more than 1,000 guests on hand to see 350 supercars and hypercars on display.
The impressive variety of cars on the day included the likes of Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren - totalling in excess of £100 million in value.
Supercar Sunday also saw a performance from pop-rock band Scouting for Girls and a speech from John McGuinness MBE - 23-time Isle of Man TT winner.
Grantley Hall’s Managing Director, Richard Sykes, said:
“As someone that has a deep passion for all things automotive, I am beyond proud of the extraordinary day that we put on this weekend. This is one of the biggest days in our calendar and in my opinion, the best of the year.
“To me it truly highlights just what Grantley Hall is about; putting on world-class events in a world-class venue that offers something that you just can’t get elsewhere.
“The day itself really was magical and we will be back next year for something that is even bigger and better than this one, so watch this space!
“I would like to thank the entire Grantley Hall team for working so hard to curate such a magnificent day.”
The sell-out event also showcased the Austrian F1 on the big screen, along with the England vs. Slovakia UEFA EUROs match later that evening.
Paul Boulton, Lifestyle Manager at Grantley Hall, said:
“It was incredible to be part of such an exceptional day, which was nothing short of superb from start to finish. On behalf of Grantley Hall I would like to thank our many sponsors, who without them Supercar Sunday would not be what it has grown to become this year.
“With friend and guest, John McGuinness MBE, in attendance this time we added a completely different aspect to the proceedings.
“We are continually surprised by how many beautiful supercars and hypercars there are tucked away just a stone's throw from Grantley Hall and it is extremely exciting to see all of these cars together at one iconic Yorkshire venue.
“The live performance by Scouting For Girls finished off the day on the perfect note!”
