A doctor from Yorkshire Air Ambulance captured a full circle rainbow - a rare phenomenon - when flying above Brimham Rocks.
Stunning full circle rainbow spotted in Harrogate district A stunning rare phenomenon has been captured from above the Harrogate district. Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) have shared an image of a full circle rainbow, otherwise known as a ‘glory’, captured at Brimham Rocks near Harrogate. The photo was taken by Doctor Steve when flying above the rock formation. YAA, who shared the photo on social media, said:
“This fabulous Photo of the Week was taken by YAA Doctor Steve, when flying over Brimham Rocks in North Yorkshire. “How incredible? A natural phenomenon that's always beautiful to see, especially after all this rain we have been having!”According to EarthSky, a circular rainbow is a very rare sight, requiring sky conditions to be "just right."
