More than 400 people have signed up for Saint Michael's Hospice's Moonlight Glow Walk in Harrogate tomorrow (Saturday).
The fundraising event will start at St John Fisher Catholic High School, with participants choosing between 5km and 10km routes to support local people and families affected by terminal illness.
Anyone who has yet to sign up can register on the day from 5:30pm, with music, entertainment and a warm-up ahead of the walk’s 7:30pm start.
Previously known as the Midnight Glow Walk, the event returns with an earlier start time and a new 5km option alongside the established 10km route.

Walkers are encouraged to wear bright clothing, with glow accessories available to buy on the night, subject to availability.
For many taking part, the walk offers an opportunity to remember someone special or celebrate a loved one while raising money for local hospice care.
Linsey Trower, Head of Fundraising and Marketing at Saint Michael’s Hospice, said:
“We’re so excited to welcome our community back for this year’s Moonlight Glow Walk and to bring people together for such a special evening.
“Whether you’re walking in memory of someone you love, celebrating someone special or simply coming along to enjoy a great night and support your local hospice, every person taking part helps to make a real difference.
“As a charity, we rely on the generosity of our community to help us continue providing vital care. We hope people will join us, light up the night and help to make this year’s event bigger and brighter than ever.”
Last year’s event attracted 600 walkers, and the hospice hopes more people will join those already registered for tomorrow’s fundraiser.

Saint Michael’s is an independent charity providing specialist care for people affected by terminal illness, alongside practical and emotional support for their families.
Further information is available on the Saint Michael’s Hospice website. Anyone unable to attend can also support the event through its Moonlight Glow Walk JustGiving page.
