A luxury Ripon hotel has launched an exclusive afternoon tea experience in collaboration with British fine jeweller Boodles.
Grantley Hall is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Boodles’ iconic Raindance collection.
The Raindance design takes its inspiration from the "scattered droplets of a quintessentially British rain shower," celebrating the "beauty of nature" and the individuality that Boodles is known for.
From 10th to 19th February, guests to Grantley Hall are invited to indulge in a specially curated afternoon tea in The Drawing Room.
Executive Pastry Chef Stefan Rose has created a menu of bespoke cakes, pastries and savoury treats - inspired by Boodles’ heritage and timeless designs - accompanied by speciality teas or an optional glass of Champagne.
Menu highlights include a selection of finger sandwiches filled with oak smoked salmon, baked Yorkshire ham, and truffled cucumber; Valentine’s inspired pastries including ‘A love letter from Boodles’ with madeleine sponge, lemon mascarpone cream and white chocolate; a rhubarb and custard layer cake; a selection of plain, raisin and earl grey scones with Yorkshire jams and Devon clotted cream; and a choice of warming teas.
Each guest will receive a beautifully crafted takeaway gift as a lasting memory of the experience.
Additionally, everyone who experiences the exclusive afternoon tea will receive an invite to a private appointment at the Boodles showroom in Leeds, where a complimentary jewellery cleaning service (including non-Boodles specific pieces) and glass of Champagne will be offered.
Prices for this luxurious experience are as follows:
- Boodles Signature Afternoon Tea: £65 per person
- Boodles Champagne Afternoon Tea: from £85 per person
- Boodles Non-Alcoholic Champagne Afternoon Tea: £75 per person
For an elevated celebration, Grantley Hall is also offering an exclusive Boodles Afternoon Tea & Overnight Stay Experience that includes:
- Overnight stay at Grantley Hall (room or suite)
- Boodles Signature Afternoon Tea in the Drawing Room
- Chauffeur-driven visit to the Boodles Boutique in Leeds for a private jewellery appointment
- Spa time at the Three Graces Spa
- Dinner in one of the hotel’s four exceptional restaurants at your leisure
The Boodles Afternoon Tea & Overnight Stay Experience starts from £855 per room.
