The St George's roundabout on Leeds Road in Harrogate has been closed due to a gas leak.
The section of Leeds Road was closed last night (Thursday) from the St George’s roundabout near Posh Paws.
This is a full closure due to a gas leak in the area which Northern Gas Network need to locate and repair.
Escaping gas is entering properties, therefore these are considered to be "emergency" works.
Other junctions on the St George’s roundabout are still open for use.
It's expected to take up to a week for the repairs to be concluded.
A fully signed diversion is in place using the A658, A661, York Place and returning to Leeds Road.
