Father Christmas and Tinsel the Elf are returning to Allerton Castle this December for four days of festive adventures.
Yorkshire entertainment company Enchantica’s will bring its Father Christmas Experience to the castle from 21st to 24th December, offering two interactive experiences for families.
Younger children can discover the wonders of Elf Training, while older children and their families can take on the Codebreakers Christmas Challenge.
The theatrical experiences will combine storytelling, laughter and festive surprises, inviting visitors to become part of the adventure.
Suzanne Vaughan, founder and creative director of Enchantica’s, who plays Tinsel the Elf, said:
“Father Christmas and Tinsel hold such a special place in our hearts, and it’s wonderful to see the joy they bring to families year after year.
“We’re absolutely delighted to be returning to the magnificent Allerton Castle, where families can step into our magical Christmas world and become part of the adventure.”
The festive duo will also appear in a new Christmas experience in York.
Enchantica’s has teamed up with York City Sightseeing, operated by Transdev, to launch the Santa Story Special on 12th and 13th December.

Departing from Exhibition Square, families will join Father Christmas, Tinsel and their festive friends aboard a sightseeing bus for a journey through the city.
The experience will feature live storytelling, music, interactive entertainment and Christmas surprises, with more seasonal storytelling adventures planned for the future.
Suzanne said:
“And this year, we’re incredibly excited to be taking Father Christmas and Tinsel on the road with York City Sightseeing! The idea of bringing their magic to the beautiful historic streets of York is something really special.”
She added:
“For us, Christmas is about so much more than presents. It’s about imagination, connection, laughter and creating those precious memories that stay with families long after the decorations have come down.
“We can’t wait to welcome families to both experiences and share another magical Christmas together!”
Spaces are limited at both ticketed events, with families encouraged to book early.
Tickets for the Allerton Castle experience are available here, while bookings for York’s Santa Story Special can be made here.
