Harrogate superstar Archie Gray became a European champion last night (Wednesday) after Tottenham Hotspur won the Europa League.
The 19-year-old, who made the switch to Spurs from Leeds United last summer, came on as a late substitute as his side beat Manchester United 1-0 in the final in Bilbao.
The victory makes Archie the youngest Englishman to be on the winning side in a European final since an 18-year-old Gary Mills in the 1980 European Cup final.
It's Tottenham's first major trophy since 2008, when they beat Chelsea in the League Cup.
Former Leeds midfelder Archie, who replaced Pape Matar Sarr in the 90th minute, also shared a touching moment with Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou after the game.
The pair embraced in front of the travelling fans in the San Mames Stadium.
Speaking after the game, Archie said:
"Obviously it’s been a tough season but you don’t get games like this often, so we’ve got to take it in. We’re grateful and we know we could do it. We had a game plan and stuck to it.
"For everyone involved, it’s a special day and one the club will remember forever.
"The fans have been brilliant throughout this whole competition, but it’s been a tough season and it’s been brilliant to have them by our side."
