A popular village shop near Harrogate is celebrating its 14th birthday today (Friday).
Dacre Village Store is marking fourteen years of serving its local community.
Located on Main Street in the heart of Dacre Banks, the family-run store opened its doors in 2011.
The store offers everyday essentials, local produce and parcel services.
A spokesperson for Dacre Village Store said:
“As a proud independent retailer, we’ve loved every moment so far — from the daily chats, support from the locals as well as getting stuck into every event, fundraiser and bit of village life we can.
“Thank you for backing your local shop and our little family. Every visit and every smile is truly appreciated.
"Here’s to many more years of helping our community thrive!”
Dacre Banks itself sits within the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is known for its strong community spirit, with the village shop remaining one of its key amenities.
