Harrogate Town thrash Yorkshire rivals in front of record-breaking crowd
It was derby day delight for Harrogate Town after they thrashed Yorkshire rivals Bradford City in front of a record crowd at the weekend.
3,905 spectators saw Town win 3-0 against their local rivals on Saturday (23rd March) - a record attendance at the EnviroVent Stadium. Strikes from Josh March, George Thomson and a Dan Oyegoke own goal sealed the win which leaves Town unbeaten in Yorkshire derbies for the 2023/24 season. They’ve been immense all week in training and taken everything we’ve worked on into the game. “It means a lot to us to win these local games and we know it means a lot to the people of Harrogate. “It was a fully committed display and I thought they were a team of heroes for us today.”https://twitter.com/HarrogateTown/status/1771557515857436735 The result sees Harrogate Town climb to 13th in the League Two table - just five points from the play-off spots.
