A Harrogate animal charity has thanked supporters after raising £1,000 to fund specialist treatment for two disabled kittens.
Noir and Neve have been cared for by Harrogate Cat Rescue since they were just five days old after being handed over to the charity.
Both kittens were born with feline radial hemimelia, a condition which means they are missing the radial bones in their front legs.
Noir, a black kitten, is affected in both front legs, while Neve, who is white, has the condition in one.
And following an appeal on social media, the charity has raised £1,000 to ensure the kittens continue to “thrive.”
A spokesperson for Harrogate Cat Rescue said:
“We have raised a whopping £1,000 toward our goal in just two days.
"This is absolutely incredible and we thank you all so much.
“We cannot thank our supports enough - this has taken a huge pressure off us for the next appointments.
“They will need specialist treatment for months to try and correct and improve their mobility.
"So far they and thriving and loving life!”
