Harrogate sisters' fashion brand named as finalist for women's style award

Harrogate sisters Lucy and Clare Bulmer, who own Luce and Bear.

A Harrogate-based fashion brand owned by two local sisters has been named as a finalist for a prestigious award.

Luce and Bear is one of five regional finalists for the Muddy Stilettos Awards for the ‘best women’s style’ in Yorkshire.

The brand, owned by sisters Lucy and Clare Bulmer, is a boutique lifestyle brand offering casual clothing, gifts and accessories.

And they now require votes from the public to be victorious in their category.

Luce and Bear is up against Hannah Weston Jewellery (York), Olivia Grace (Wetherby), The Bobby Pin (Bradford) and Aura (Beverley).

Clare Bulmer said:

“We are completely shocked! An award like this would be a huge milestone for our small business and would mean the absolute world to us.

“It is now down to votes and we’ll need all the help we can get!

“If you’ve come across our little brand and like what we’re doing, please would you consider voting.”

A regional winner will be selected based on votes before progressing to a national final.

A number of other Harrogate businesses have also been named as finalists in various categories, including Rudding Park Hotel, Pranzo, Richard Garfton Interior and Novu Harrogate.
