A Harrogate restaurant has been named among the finalists in this year's UK Italian Awards.
Buon Gusto, on Cheltenham Crescent, has been shortlisted in the Best Restaurant in Yorkshire category at the UK Italian Awards 2026.
The awards, now in their ninth year, celebrate Italian businesses across the country and include categories such as Best Chef, Best Pizza and Best Mixologist, alongside regional honours.
It’s one of five North Yorkshire restaurants to have been shortlisted, alongside Al Volo (Rufforth), L'Osteria Italiana (York), La Vecchia Scuola (York) and Sapori Di Napoli Italian Restaurant (Tadcaster).
A spokesperson for the awards said:
“On this special evening, we will celebrate everything that makes us proud of our unique ties with Italy.
“Expect international brands, celebrities, and businesses from across the UK coming together to network, celebrate, and showcase the strength of the Italian community - a fantastic PR opportunity for everyone involved.”
The event, first launched in 2012, brings together Italian businesses from across the UK to celebrate achievements within the industry, with national and regional winners revealed on the night.

All finalists will now progress to the next stage of judging ahead of the gala final next month.
The UK Italian Awards 2026 final will take place on March 30th at the Marriott Hotel in Mayfair, London.
During the ceremony, one overall winner will be announced for each regional category, alongside several 'highly recommended' venues.
