Harrogate Junior Parkrun will celebrate its 10th anniversary in the Valley Gardens this weekend.
Since its first event in 2015, the Junior Parkrun has welcomed thousands of children aged 4 to 14 to take part in free, weekly 2km runs every Sunday morning at 9am.
The event is designed to encourage fitness, confidence and community spirit among young runners.
To mark the occasion, there will be a small celebration this Sunday morning (19th October), with the Mayor of Harrogate and several guests in attendance.

Organisers say everyone is welcome to join the celebrations, whether running, volunteering or cheering on from the sidelines.
For more information about the event or how to get involved, contact Harrogate Junior Parkrun at harrogatejuniors@parkrun.com.
