A 7-year-old girl from Harrogate has seen her floral design unveiled in Valley Gardens.
Tabitha Dalglish’s design was selected as the winner of Harrogate in Bloom Children’s Art Competition.
And as part of the prize, the St Peter’s School pupil has seen her design planted near the main gate in Valley Gardens.
Tabitha was joined by her family, the gardeners, St Peter’s Headteacher Mr Griffiths and pupils from St Peter’s for the unveiling.
Harrogate in Bloom will be judged by the RHS Britain in Bloom judges on Monday 11th August and Tabitha will meet the judges to showcase her design.
The design is always done the year prior to planting.
This year the theme is 250 years of the USA and the winning design will be planted next year to celebrate the 250th Anniversary.
