Three local artists have unveiled a stunning Christmas mural in the front window of Harrogate Hospital.
Georgina Benson-Green (The Harrogate Illustrator), Louisa Skinner (Louisa Loves Painting) and Sarah Marsh (Murals by Sarah) spent the morning designing a festive wintery scene at the hospital’s main entrance.
The trio worked for free in an attempt to “make people smile” when they visit the hospital through the Christmas period.

The design took around two hours to create and follows the popularity of a similar display last year.
Georgina Benson-Green told Your Harrogate:
"This is our second year and we love being able to do it because we just love making people happy.
"Obviously a trip to the hospital can be a very sad time for people and the three of us just love to be able to give something back. We hope it will put smiles on faces."
Sarah said:
"We’ve all included a bit of wildlife, so I’ve done a fox, an owl, a few bunny rabbits and a festive tree."
Louisa said:
"I work at the hospital as well so for me, it’s particularly nice to give something back."
The trio are backing Harrogate Hospital’s Christmas campaign and are urging people to donate presents to adults and children who will be spending the festive period in hospital.
