A popular Knaresborough pub has been awarded a 5-star rating from a beer accreditation scheme.
The Blue Bell at Arkendale has received the top rating from experts at Cask Marque following an assessment.
Cask Marque is an accreditation scheme that assesses and awards pubs for serving great quality cask ale.
Assessors evaluate beer temperature, appearance, aroma, and taste.
A spokesperson for The Blue Bell said:
"We are thrilled to share that our hard work has paid off.
"A special shoutout to our General Manager Emily and Hannah for leading us to a 5-star rating in our Cask Marque assessment.
"This means we serve excellent beer just as it should be, with all hygiene levels meeting the highest standards."
The Blue Bell in Arkendale re-opened last year under new ownership of Simon Wade after a full revamp.
