The date for next year’s Knaresborough Tractor Run has been revealed.
It was a record-breaking event in March after more than 400 tractors took to the roads in convoy whilst fundraising for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
And the next Tractor Run, which has raised over £113,000 to date, will take place on Sunday 9th March.
Speaking after last year’s event, Tractor Run chairman Steven Brown said:
“It’s just such a brilliant cause and you always say I don’t need the air ambulance, but you never know when you do and it may not be your fault, but in my opinion it’s heavily underfunded and if we can do anything to help, it’s all good.”

The first Tractor Run was held in 2012, organised by Knaresborough Young Farmers, with just 11 tractors taking part.
After one of the group’s members, Mike Spink, died in a road accident in 2017, the club decided to host the event in his memory.
Each year they raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, a cause that was close to Mike's heart.
Tessa Klemz, regional fundraising manager for the North and East Yorkshire said:
“We are so bowled over by the generosity of the Yorkshire folk who keep us in the air.
“We do need £19,000 a day to keep the two helicopters flying, but if you break that down, if every adult in Yorkshire gave £1.50 a year, that would cover it.”
