Christmas has arrived in Harrogate as the festive lights have now been switched on across the town.
The various light displays are thanks to the efforts of Harrogate BID, which has once again funded the lighting scheme in the town’s centre.
Last year's display featured more than 100,000 LED bulbs and illuminated the streets of Harrogate until early January.

A spokesperson said:
“Harrogate BID is extremely proud to fund each and every single Christmas light in the town, making the town dazzle each year.”
The initiative is part of a wider festive programme spearheaded by the BID to boost footfall and support the town’s retail and hospitality sectors.
In addition to the lighting, the BID is backing other attractions such as the Christmas Shop Window competition and themed animations to enhance the visitor experience.
