A charity concert is set to be held in memory of a well-known Harrogate businessman.
69-year-old Martin Gerrard, who was known for his time as president of Harrogate Chamber, died in June.
He was also at Barclays for 49 years and spent time as Director of Harrogate BID.
And in Martin’s memory, his brother, Nick, has organised a classic music and dance concert.
The event includes “a beautiful medley of music, dance and readings” including Bach, Chaminade, Massanet, Doppler, Schubert and more.
Nick’s wife, Nicola, will be performing the flute, as well as his daughter Hannah who will be dancing.
It will be raising money for St Michael’s Hospice, who cared for Martin in his final days.
The event will be held at the Wesley Centre in Harrogate on Saturday 28th September and will celebrate what would have been Martin’s 70th birthday.
Tickets are charged at £15 for adults and £5 for under 16s and are available on the door or by emailing nickgerrard12@gmail.com.
