A 4x4 road run for charity is being hosted in the Harrogate area next month.
It’s being organised by Yorkshire 4x4 Family Club, which is a club for 4x4 enthusiasts in Yorkshire.
The event on 6th October will raise money for Parkinson’s UK, starting at Mackenzie’s Yorkshire Farm Shop & Café near Harrogate.
Participants are charged at £20 per vehicle, which includes a rally plaque and key ring.
The convoy, which is limited to a maximum of 30 vehicles, will follow a pre-planned route.
A spokesperson for Yorkshire 4x4 Family Club said:
“At the start of the run, Mackenzies will be open from 9am for that all important morning coffee.
"If you are hungry, you can pre-order from a range of breakfast options prior to our drivers meeting, before we set off for a gentle drive through the beautiful Yorkshire dales villages ending our journey at Oakwell hall in Batley.”

Oakwell Hall is an Elizabethan manor house in Birstall. The Grade 1 listed hall is set in period gardens surrounded by 110 acres of country park.
The spokesperson added:
“At the finish you can explore the Hall, learn about its history and previous occupants, visit the grounds and gardens as well as the little gift shop and cafe.”
