Twelve local charities have received charitable donations following another successful Nidderdale Walk.
The event returned for its 30th anniversary event on 19th March, with a total of 449 runners and walkers raising more than £31,500.
And the Rotary Club of Harrogate, who organise the event, presented cheques to twelve charities on Monday (24th June).
These charities received a donation for having 10 or more adult supporters taking part.
These included Wellspring Therapy & Training and Yorkshire Cancer Research, among others.
Charles Dickinson, event administrator, said:
“We thank all those who supported the event which helped many people raise money for their own favourite charity.
“Until next year!”
The Nidderdale Walk begins in Pateley Bridge and sees participants walk one of six routes, ranging from 4 to 26 miles.
It was first started in 1994 and has raised more than £1million for charity since.
