On Friday 31st May at around 3:20pm, a collision took place involving a Volkswagen T-Roc and a campervan on the B6265 between Glasshouses and Risplith travelling in opposite directions.
The other victims of the crash on the B6265 included 3 adults, a teenager and a one-year-old infant.
The occupants of the car all suffered minor to serious injuries.
The one year old baby involved in the incident is currently being treated in hospital after sustaining serious injuries.
The road was closed to allow treatment to the casualties, and for investigators to examine the scene.
It reopened at around 2.30am in the early hours of the Saturday morning.
The driver of the campervan was interviewed under caution and remains under investigation.
North Yorkshire Police are requesting any witnesses to come forward with any information about the incident or dash-cam footage they may have obtained.
