Your Skipton and Your Ilkley will launch on DAB digital radio for the first time next week.
From Tuesday (26th May), listeners will be able to tune in to both stations in their cars in a major milestone moment for both stations.
Your Skipton and Your Ilkleywill begin broadcasting on DAB from 6:30am with breakfast presenter Alex Cann, who will be hosting the morning show across both services.
The stations, which were previously known as Rombalds Radio before joining the Your Media Group portfolio, will join sister station Your Harrogate on DAB.
Listeners across Skipton, Ilkley and the surrounding areas will be able to access local travel updates, weather, competitions, local news and information, alongside familiar presenters and local voices.
The stations will also continue offering features including half-price vouchers for local businesses.
Ricky Durkin, Programme Director at Your Media Group, said:
“Launching on DAB is a significant moment for both Your Skipton and Your Ilkley.
“It means listeners can now enjoy the stations much more easily at home and in the car, while we continue focusing on genuinely local content, trusted presenters and strong community connections.
“We’re excited to bring the stations to even more people across the area.”
Both stations will still be available online, on smart speaker and on their own free apps.
