Your Harrogate will be hosting a DJ trailer for this year's Knaresborough Tractor Run to rally support and help raise thousands for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Across several years, the run has amassed over £113,000 for the Air Ambulance and last year, a new record was set when over 400 tractors took part on the day.
The team behind it are a passionate, not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to supporting the incredible work of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
On Sunday 9th March, the tractor run will wind its way from the showground in Harrogate, through the countryside of Knaresborough, onto Pateley Bridge, before returning to Knaresborough in the afternoon.
It brings together tractor enthusiasts, local communities and generous supporters who help raise vital funds for the air ambulance; a life-saving charity, providing rapid response emergency services across the region.
Ahead of the procession, Your Harrogate will be on board a tractor and trailer combo, thanks to Ripon Farm Services, Simon Graeme Auto Service Centre and Harrogate-based, DJ Mark Green!
Knaresborough tractor run committee chairman Steven Brown said:
“We all felt as a committee that it was a good idea. We know that other runs do it and it was whether it would work logistically for our event.
“It’s something for people to interact with. If we put the Your Harrogate DJ trailer at the front, it allows people in villages and spectators to know that we’re coming!”
The Tractor run is more than just a fundraiser; it’s a celebration of community spirit, rural heritage and the power of coming together for a great cause.
Drivers and passengers all pay a fee to take part, and coupled with donations from those watching, every penny goes directly to Yorkshire Air Ambulance, helping to keep the service operational and ensuring they can continue to save lives.
