The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow which comes into place at 6am tomorrow (8th February) and will remain until 6am the following morning (Friday). The Met Office said:
“A period of snowfall could bring some disruption on Thursday and Thursday night. “There is a small chance of travel delays on roads with some stranded vehicles and passengers, along with delayed or cancelled rail and air travel.”We at Your Harrogate Radio are braced for snow showers and the disruption that comes with it. Nick Hancock's show will be adapted to the weather and will start earlier to provide all the latest travel news and if there are any school closures.
Travel bulletins will be broadcasted every 15 minutes and school closures will be read out after the news every half hour all morning.
