Supermarket giant Tesco has acquired Booths in Ripon.
Booths, a family-owned supermarket, has been in place on Marshall Way since June 2009.
The acquisition means Booths now has 25 stores across the north, including in Ilkley and Settle.
Ripon BID Manager Lilla Bathurst said:
