St John Fisher Catholic High School in Harrogate will be closed tomorrow (Thursday) following an issue linked to gas works, the school has confirmed.
In a message sent to students and families, the school said the site would not be able to open while the problem is addressed.
St Aidan's will be open as usual for Sixth Form pupils.
St Aidans sixth formers who were due to attend lessons at St John Fisher have been asked to report instead to the Sixth Form office at St Aidan’s, where they will be able to register and complete their work in the study centre or library.
Students have been advised to check Microsoft Teams for any further instructions or work set by teachers as the situation develops.
The closure is expected to remain in place for tomorrow only, with the school yet to provide further updates on when the site will reopen.
