Special coverage as Storm Isha hits Harrogate district Storm Isha is now arriving here in North Yorkshire. The met office has taken the unusual step of issuing an amber wind warning for parts of the UK including the Harrogate district from 6pm on Sunday through to 6am on Monday morning. This means - Longer journey times and cancellations likely as road, rail and air may be affected Some roads and bridges may close Potential damage to buildings and roofs A chance of power cuts including mobile phone coverage Your Harrogate will be broadcasting a 'Storm Special' programme from 4pm keeping listeners updated on the local situation. Nick Hancock, Breakfast show presenter will be on air to keep the community in touch "We know that in extreme weather people rely on local radio and we know that nobody else provides a real time traffic service on the radio so we will be on air all afternoon, all evening and all night if necessary to provide information".
