Those searching for missing Ripon dog Ella have asked people to keep her in their thoughts as we enter the New Year.
Search continues for missing Ripon dog Ella The owners of missing Ripon dog Ella have asked people to keep her in their thoughts in the New Year. The eight-year-old Cocker Spaniel went missing at around 11:30am on Friday 13th October 2023. Both Ella and her young sister, Holly, were in a group of dogs with a professional dog walker in the Clotherholme Road area when the pair went missing. 3-year-old Holly was found shortly after, but Ella was not. Despite the time that has elapsed, Ella’s owners, Jo and Andy Coombs, are continuing the search for their beloved pooch. Friend Mandy Butler has helped create a Facebook group to locate Ella. She said:
“As we start a new year, please keep Ella and her family in your thoughts. "We have no idea what happened to Ella on 13th October when she vanished at Clotherholm Road Barracks on her walk. "So much work has been done in the search for Ella. There is lots still going on in the background. We follow up every single possibility, no stone is left unturned."The group said they are following up on possible sightings during the festive season that fit Ella’s description. Molly added:
“We will not give up on Ella until we get answers and bring her home to her heartbroken family. “Thank you everyone for the continued support for Ella and her family.”Anyone with information can contact Molly in confidence on 07947866582. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
