The police have revealed the identity of the man who died last Friday after a collision.
The collision happened near Beckwithshaw, Harrogate, on Friday 24th October.
He has been named as 52-year-old Nicholas Parkin from Beckwithshaw.
His family described him as a much-loved family member and shared a photograph in his memory.
The collision occurred at around 10 pm on Pot Bank when Mr Parkin’s blue Citroen C2 left the road and collided with a tree.
North Yorkshire Police have extended their condolences to his family and are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information.
Anyone who saw the Citroen C2 before the collision, witnessed the incident itself, or has relevant dashcam footage is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police by emailing mcit@northyorkshire.police.uk or calling 101.
