Plans are already underway for Harrogate’s Christmas lights displays.
Harrogate BID will continue to lead on the lights and have promised a “bigger and better” offering in 2024.
In previous years there has been a ‘soft switch on’ after Harrogate BID revealed an official event could cost up to £20,000.

A spokesperson said:
“During our consultation last year, you told us that you want us to continue to lead on the Christmas lights in our town.
“We deliver each and every festive light in the town centre and we intend to continue to build on this.
“We are already working on bigger and better plans for this year, so watch this space…”
