Harrogate pet owners can now enjoy cleaner, fresher gardens thanks to a brand new local 'poop scoop' service.
Homepet Waste Solutions, launched by Harrogate resident Adam Dickinson, is billed as an "affordable, hassle-free way" for pet owners to stay on top of waste removal.
It's aimed at busy households, elderly pet owners, and anyone who wants to "reclaim their garden."
Adam said that a chat with a local elderly couple struggling to keep up with their dog's mess made him realised there was a gap in the market.

With a focus on keeping Harrogate’s gardens clean and hygienic, Homepet Waste Solutions offers one-off, weekly, or fortnightly visits.
It also offers an optional deodorising and sanitising service to eliminate odours and bacteria.
Founder Adam said:
"As a dog owner myself, I know how frustrating it can be to keep on top of garden mess.
"A lot of people don’t realise there’s a simple, affordable solution. We want to help local pet owners keep their gardens clean and safe, so they can enjoy spending time outdoors without the hassle."
For pet owners with astroturf, Adam also provides specialist astroturf cleaning using a powerful STIHL Powerbrush to remove embedded pet hair, dirt, and bacteria.
Bookings for any service can be made online, and prices start at just £12 per visit.
