A brand new adventure play area has been unveiled at Harewood House.
The new ‘Adventure Playscape’ area features climbing towers, bridges, slides, hideouts, swings and a zipwire.
It’s been carefully designed by Touchwood Play to “protect Harewood’s Grade I listed landscape and wildlife” whilst providing a mixture of “physical and sensory play” for children of all ages.

A spokesperson for Touchwood Play said:
“The new play area at Harewood is rooted within the landscape, with local timbers, stones and even living willow creating a tactile sensory experience that connects all children with nature.
“Playful nods to Harewood’s rich history are woven throughout the space.
“It’s also a beautiful place for every visitor to enjoy – a fun, adventurous and inspiring play space made in harmony with Harewood’s beloved landscape."
The new play area is now open and free for paying visitors to use throughout Easter and beyond.
