A brand new Indian restaurant is heading to Harrogate.
Abu’s will be opening on Cheltenham Crescent in the coming weeks in the place of the former Kinara Tandoori restaurant and take-away.
The family-run restaurant, run by Abu Raihan and his father Chef Abdul Mannan, already operates on Duke Street in Darlington.
The menu will feature classic Indian dishes and is a homecoming for owner Abu, who was born in Harrogate.
In a tease on social media, a spokesperson for Abu’s said:
“Keys are here. Lease is completed. It’s official. Abu’s Harrogate is coming soon…”
The existing restaurant in Darlington will remain open.
No exact opening date has been confirmed for the new Harrogate location.
