The opening date of a new Greggs in Starbeck has been revealed.
The popular bakery change is due to open an extra branch at Morrisons on Hookstone Chase on Friday 22nd May.
The opening is part of a major expansion by Motor Fuel Group, which has other brands on some of its sites, including Burger King and Pret A Manger.
A spokesperson on social media teased:
“The countdown has officially begun… Greggs opens at out site in just two weeks!
“Who’s looking forward to their first sausage roll?”
Leaflets promoting the opening show a series of launch offers over four weeks, including a free regular coffee, a free breakfast roll, a free sweet treat and a free sausage or vegan sausage roll with purchases.
In December a branch of Greggs opened at the Morrisons service station on the edge of Boroughbridge.
