A new festive 5km run for charity is set to be held in Knaresborough this December.
The Mental Elf event is being held at Conyngham Hall on Sunday 1st December from 11am.
The 5km route will take runners on a mixture of tarmac and trail paths - the same route used for the weekly Conyngham Hall Parkrun.
And all proceeds go to Mind in Harrogate District to help fund a new service dedicated to supporting children and young people's mental health.
A spokesperson for Mind in Harrogate said:
“Mental Elf is a 5K Festive Fun Run designed to boost community spirit and mental wellbeing, whilst also raising money for our new children and young people mental health service.
“Mental Elf is a family friendly event and we welcome runners (and walkers) of all abilities, as well as children and corporate teams!”
