Luxury Ripon hotel Grantley Hall is celebrating its fifth birthday.
Grantley Hall first opened in July 2019 - almost three years after construction on the vast estate began.
Originally built as a private home, the building had served as a training facility for the local community and there was once even a mill house on the land.
A £70million project began on renovating the Grade II-listed building back in 2016 by Grantley Hall Ltd, owned by Mrs Valeria Skyes.
It opened in Spring 2019 as a luxury five-star hotel and wellness retreat.
A spokesperson for the hotel said via social media:
"Over the past five years, we have created unforgettable memories and accomplished significant milestones.
"We are extremely proud to welcome guests to our hotel from near and far, showcasing Yorkshire's beauty to the world.
"Thank you to all our guests for your support it means a lot to the team at Grantley Hall."
Grantley Hall is currently the only member of Relais & Châteaux in Yorkshire and was named ‘Best Newcomer 2020’ by Conde Nast.
It has gone on to win 59 awards since, including the AA Hospitality Awards 2022-2023 - Hotel of the Year England.
