A Knaresborough woman and Kiefer Sutherland superfan has had the star's face tattooed on her leg after meeting him on the set of his new film.
Sutherland has been in Knaresborough and Wetherby in the last few weeks to shoot upcoming Christmas film ‘Tinsel Town’, which also stars Rebel Wilson and Danny Dyer.
And Annie Wilkinson-Gill, 44, met the actor on 7th February - just before she’d planned to get his face tattooed on her thigh.
The mother-of-three, who owns The Crystal Buddha on Knaresborough’s High Street, said she was "starstruck" before asking him for a photo.
Annie is a horror film fan and already has tattoos from flicks including Halloween, Friday the 13th and The Silence of the Lambs.
She said she has been a fan of Sutherland since his appearance in the 1987 vampire film The Lost Boys - the subject of her new tattoo.
She said:
"He was super friendly. He came over and had a chat with me and a couple of other people.
"He was very grateful for filming in Knaresborough and shared how beautiful Knaresborough is as well."
She added:
“If I had the opportunity to see him again I’d get him to sign just next to the tattoo, and I’d get that tattooed next to it. I love it.”
Annie said that she was a "happy customer", despite the pain to her thigh, whilst tattoo artist James Mellors said he was happy with the result.
