More than 300 people took on Harrogate's 'Wipeout' challenge over the weekend.
Organised by Harrogate BID, ‘Mothering Funday’ returned to the piazza outside the Victoria Shopping Centre on Saturday (29th March).
Hundreds of participants, both young and old, took on the inflatable ‘Wipeout’ challenge – with one youngster managing to stay on their feet for longer than 6 minutes.
Bethany Allen, Harrogate BID’s Operations and Projects Executive, said:
“We were so pleased with the response to this year’s Mothering Funday and would like to thank everyone that came down and took part!
“It’s always a popular event with a fantastic chance to win a great gift for your mum, grandma or guardian.
“I’d also like to thank all of our Members that donated some lovely prizes to feature in the prize draw, our lucky winners will be selected and contacted this week…”
Top prizes were donated by a range of local businesses including Starling Café, Rigby and Peller, The Yorkshire Soap Company, West Park Hotel and Ebru Evrim.
The winners from this year’s Mothering Funday will be contacted by the Harrogate BID team over the coming days.

Harrogate Gift Card
The Harrogate Gift Card, available to spend in almost 100 businesses across different sectors in the town centre, was also included in the prize draw.
Fully funded by the town’s Business Improvement District (BID), the initiative helps to lock spend into the local economy to boost and support the business community.
So far, the scheme has secured more than £170,000 for the good of the town.
The Gift Card is available in both physical and digital format. To purchase one, please click here or visit Harrogate Bus Station, The Turkish Baths or the Mercer Art Gallery.
Any businesses wishing to sign up to the digital Gift Card initiative, or anyone with any general questions, can email the Harrogate BID team on info@harrogatebid.co.uk for further information.
