A week in which restaurants and cafes offer exclusive discounts is set to return to Harrogate.
Restaurant Week will run in Harrogate from 6th-12th October - and business owners are being urged to get involved.
The campaign offers the food and hospitality industry the chance to celebrate their menus, attract new customers and create regular repeat visits.
It’s organised by Visit North Yorkshire - North Yorkshire Council’s destination marketing and management service.
Alongside Harrogate, the scheme will run in Selby, Tadcaster and Sherburn-in-Elmet.
North Yorkshire Council’s executive member for open to business, Cllr Mark Crane said:
“North Yorkshire is renowned for its excellent food and drink, and we want to showcase the best of what the Harrogate area has to offer.
“The week of offers is held during what is normally a quieter time of the year to encourage footfall into our hospitality businesses and I would encourage the restaurants, cafes and tearooms from across the area to get involved.”
This year, the fifth Harrogate Restaurant Week is once again supported by the Harrogate Business Improvement District (BID), which is covering the costs for its members following a successful partnership with Visit North Yorkshire last year.

Operations and projects executive at Harrogate BID, Bethany Allen, said:

“It's a great initiative that helps to drive both footfall and spend into our town centre's hospitality sector, which lines up perfectly with one of the key objectives in our business plan.

Businesses which do not already have a free business listing on the Visit North Yorkshire website can create one after registering for Restaurant Week.
