Harrogate Town has announced that Marc McPhillips has been appointed as the club’s new Head of Community Foundation.
An experienced Manager and Events professional working within Community, Education, Marc brings a strategic approach with track record of delivering high impact projects and events.
Marc takes the role having spent six years working for Middlesbrough’s Foundation alongside work with the Premier League as an Event Consultant and Durham Women's Safeguarding and Player Welfare Manager.
On taking the new role, Marc said:
“I come into this role with great excitement, but also a sense of responsibility to ensure the Foundation delivers on our vision to motivate, educate, inspire and empower all people to achieve their potential and improve their quality of life.
“To do this we need to be at the heart of our communities, supporting people from all walks of life. We will work collaboratively with local partners to add value to the great work that is already happening across Harrogate and its surrounding areas
“Harnessing the power of football we will deliver bespoke programmes and initiatives to meet the needs of local people and through our tailored approach, we aim to inspire positive change, foster community spirit, and provide opportunities for growth and development."
